Hi,
XML tags that iTunes reads are not right.
Do you think of a special issue?
I think the XML structure of your Feed and the iTunes tags in it are fine. Your Feed is valid.
But the image file are maybe the problems.
You are using for both images (RSS image and the iTunes:image). But the RSS image should be 144×144 pixels. Further the used image is not square image (it is 600×599 pixels).
Although the description of the <iTunes:image> tag says that “[…]iTunes prefers square .jpg images that are at least 600 x 600 pixels[…]”, I thing this could be the problem.
Try a 144×144 pixel image as the RSS image and a square image (600×600) as the iTunes:image.

Tim

Thanks, Tim.
I’ve update the images as you said (they were that size after trying out every combination) and have pinged iTunes. I’ll wait and see what happens.
I’m not sure that iTunes is actually updating as I’ve altered slightly the text description of the podcast I uploaded and – even after 24 hours – it’s still not updated. Should I assume that iTunes is simply taking a long time to update?
How long – in your experience – does iTunes take to update following a ping?
Many thanks for the support!

Pinging isn’t the issue as it is altering the actual listing of the podcasts… just not the images. I’ve just tried completely renaming the images and have made the larger image 300×300 as I’ve just read an Apple support artical that suggests this.
I’ll give it a little more time… 🙂

Yes, renaming the a modified iTunes:image file is a good idea.
