[Plugin: Polls] resizing polls

Is there any way to resize apoll? I first added a poll to my right sidebar, but the poll was too wide. The question disappeard off the page. I then tried to add it directly to the page itself, but the size was too narrow for the page and looks terrible, I’m using theme twenty ten in WP 3.4.2.
