    Hi there,

I got a strange issue on one of the websites I maintain: I run the site in English and in German, using Polylang. Further, I maintain a custom post type for publications, using the plugin Custom Content Type Manager to establish and to administrate the custom post type. This post type makes use of several custom fields, which are correctly stored in the database.

However, whenever I change the content of one of the custom fields, the content is overwritten in the corresponding post of the other language as well. While this may be handy in cases where it is important to have identical custom field contents in both language versions, it is extremely unconvenient in my case. What can I do to avoid/repair this?

    Cheers
    Anders

I should have queried the forum first, sorry!!! The problem was that I had opted for custom field synchronisation in the admin tab. Once I unchecked this option everything worked fine!
