Hi ! I’m trying to use WP as a CMS with 2 static pages and one for the posts. I’m using Polylang to do that in French and English but on the posts page, the two languages are mixed. The menu and the posts are in both languages. Of course, the static pages are in the right languages and the widget works well. What can i do to fix that ?

Which version are you using ?

Did you create 2 posts pages (one for French and one for English) and link them together ?

WP 3.2.1 and Polylang 0.4.4. Yes I have created 2 posts, one in french, one in english, both are linked.

There was a problem in 0.4.3 which was normally corrected in 0.4.4. Could you post a link here ?

no i can’t, it’s just a test to choose the right plugin, the site is not online yet.

    I understand… I generally do the same πŸ˜‰

Well I will try to reproduce your settings. Could you answer the question below ?

    Polylang settings:
    Default language used ?
    Detect browser preference ?
Remove /language/ in pretty permalinks ?
Hide URL language information for default language ?

    Reading:
If I well understood, the front page displays a static page.
Language of the static front page ?
Language of the posts page ?

Which permalink structure are you using ?
    Are you using PHP5+ ?

Default language used ? -> French or English
Detect browser preference ? -> Yes
Remove /language/ in pretty permalinks ? -> No
Hide URL language information for default language ? -> No

    Reading:
If I well understood, the front page displays a static page.
Language of the static front page ? -> French or English
Language of the posts page ? -> French or English

Which permalink structure are you using ? -> The default structure
    Are you using PHP5+ ? PHP 5.3.6

I reproduced the bug. I will work on it and include the correction in the next release.

However it should already work correctly if you use a different permalink structure (at least it does on my test version).

I tried with another permalink structure and it works ! Thank you for that great plugin πŸ˜‰
