Hi WhiteGazelle!
Thanks for your Feedback and of course the Post Page Associator Story is not at its end yet. 🙂
I removed the banner from the plugin page but it worries me that there are a lot of people out there who do not think about the costs of creating a plugin.
E.g. the user “mayday”: He sells the free version of this plugin to his clients but he is not willing to pay a few dollars for the development. That’s miserable. (And then of course he writes stupid topics about a donation button. ^^ )
So what would you do in my position? :\
Do exactly as whitegazelle suggested: GET RID of the dashboard spam. Seriously: your face in my dashboard is NOT something I want to see when I sign in (which is why I removed your plugin from my sites as well). If it’s money you’re after, promote your plugins as for-profit on your time, but granting yourself permission to spam a private admin dashboard is NOT okay–EVER.
Dennis : Please do not harass or insult other users on this forum.

MrMist, you are totally right, but after the 100th same slipslop a day everyone will lose one’s patience. :\
I used post-page associator for a short time, and I will say that it met the need I had at the time, but I very quickly found an alternative (and a much more lightweight alternative at that). I also run on a donation-based business model, but I believe that Mr. Hoppe has crossed an ethical line.
@nathanhowemusic: What alternative did you find?
