[Plugin: Pronamic Google Maps] Balloons/Variables/Mashup

I’m using a custom post type for my client’s list of different locations. The maps appear great on each individual post page, however the balloon descriptions do not appear at all. What don’t I have enabled?

By default only the Pronamic Google Maps ‘description’ field is displayed in the balloon. If the description field is empty no balloon will be displayed.

I want to show the address elsewhere on the same page (outside of the plugin). How can I extract variable information from the plugin on each page? And, I would like to use the variable information to link to a driving directions page or popup.

The mashup map does not show any individual locations. Right now, I have two published. Surely, I’ve missed a step somewhere?

You have to pass WordPress query arguments to the ‘pronamic_google_maps_mashup()’ function. If that query has no results you won’t see any locations on the map.

You should probably the WordPress query you pass in the pronamic_google_maps_mashup($query, $arguments) function.
