• Hi guys, I’m using star cloudprint plugin for woocommerce. Our printer stop printing receipts from the past few days. While troubleshooting, I see the dynamic ip address is getting fetched in the plugin. I have tried both setting it to static ip, and dynamic ip in star cloud utility tool in ‘ip parameters’ section. Can someone help me fix this issue. So my plugin only take printer ip address via ethernet connection and keep printing receipts.

@mahmoosyed206 the IP address of your printer should not matter, as long as it has a working network connection and is able to reach your server (which usually would be accessed via a domain name, not an IP address).

I would recommend looking for possible causes other than the printers IP address.
We have recently rolled out an update of the plugin to version 2.0.x It sounds possible that this might coincide with your issue. So, if you have updated to 2.0 then please check your settings, in particular check the “Printing Trigger” option. If your site uses a default order status for new orders other than “processing” then this is the likely cause. You can change to trigger on order “completed” status, or return the the old “thank you” hook method used by previous versions of the plugin.

You can also test that printing is basically working, by opening up an order, and clicking on the new “Print with Star CloudPRNT” button, to manually trigger a print. If this works, then your issue is certainly related to the print trigger.

If this doesn’t seem to be the cause, then please look for other potential changed, for example have you changed your ISP or updated your router recently, or has your webhost updated their servers? Both of these can cause communication issues between the printer and your web site.
