    I am trying to change my sound files by following instructions on your FAQ page, uploading 3 new files in the formats specified.

    However, I still get the old bird-cheeping sound in Firefox, where I first tried it. I can hear the new sound when receiving a message in Safari or IE which I tested next.

    I really like your plugin, but when texts are received in Firefox, my dog freaks out and starts trembling and hiding under my desk with that high bird chirping sound 🙂 If you could help me (and my dog) that would be great!

    Hi.
    Default sound (high bird chirping sound) is stored inside message-sound.mp3, message-sound.ogg and message-sound.wav files. If you have replaced those files with anything else, the only place from where Internet Explorer could get default bird sound is from its cache or if you accidentally forgot to replace one of the files. So please listen to the all three sound files again to make sure all are replaced and clean Internet Explorer browsing history/cache and report back.

    Thank you Marko! Indeed it was my browser cache. I should have thought of that. The new sound is there now that I’ve cleaned my browser cache.
