[Plugin: Quotes Collection] sql queries choking server

    I love this plugin.

    However, it has brought my server to a halt several times. It appears that the plugin keeps establishing sleeping queries with mysql. It just keeps eating up resources till the server stops functioning.

    Do you have a fix for this? I hate to give up on the plugin.

    I too, use this plugin regularly. I pored over the code and found all queries to be using the $wpdb object. This would seem to rule out the possibility of sleeping queries.. (please correct me if I am mistaken)?

    @marglar do you have any more insight into this? I am reworking the plugin for my own purposes and I would love to know if this is actually an issue. (I’m no expert on sql)

    Found this pluging when looking for this kind of functionality. Implemented it and already loving it. Hope this issue will be solved soon, if it is an issue of course.
