[Plugin: Rating-Widget] I can't activate it

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in ~/wordpress.paurian.com/wp-content/plugins/rating-widget/rating-widget.php on line 52

    Searching for similar errors, it appears to be based on the version of PHP it’s running on.

    Which Rating-Widget version do you have?

    Thanks for the quick reply. I installed the latest. Because of this error, I discovered another plugin, “Health Check”, which reported that my ISP has an old version of PHP installed.

    I sent a request to the ISP for them to update the PHP version they provide.
