    Hello,

I need to update my header and footer code, but I cannot find it in the sidebar. When I click on the link from the plugin page I receive a 404 error. The output of my code is still working which is good, but I am unable to access the plugin to make much needed updates.

Is this something that you could assist with?

    Hi @pbjgameproductions,

Sorry about the confusion – from what you are describing you might have enabled Headers & Footers mode only. If that’s the case, you should find the settings under wp-admin > Settings > Header & Footer.

    Hi @gripgrip,

I had this plugin before it apparently changed names. I did not touch it for a while. Header & Footer no longer appears in the WordPress admin unless I review the plugins page for what I have downloaded. There are no options to enable or disable. When I click on Code Snippets on the plugin page, the page reloads to this “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” Why would that happen when I am the admin? Is it because I am using incognito mode or is there an issue with the code that hides the plugin from the menu?

I figured out the issue. Whenever there was an update the plugin must have been stuck. It worked after I deactivated and reactivated.

    Hi @pbjgameproductions,

Thank you for the update. Yes, one of the previous versions had an issue in some cases where reactivating the plugin fixed the permissions.
