• I have a website that I use for a class I teach. As I come across relevant news in the field, I want a quick way to post it on my site to share with my students. I´m currently using Twitter and Custom Twitter feeds, but this displays a less than attention-getting text post. I´ve tried several options from Smash Balloon, but still haven´t found anything quick and attractive.
What I would like to do is click one of the social media options from the original post, to post it to my site. I don´t care whether it uses twitter, instagram, or whatever, but I need to have a quick way to have it automatically post to the news feed on my site.

I am not opposed to using a premium plugin, but since this is a really small site with a very limited audience, and I am a teacher with an ever diminishing purchasing power, I can´t afford a significant investment.
Any ideas / recommendations would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Thanks James.

Press This isn´t quite what I´m looking for, but it helps. I suspect that what I´m looking for doesn´t (yet) exist. Here´s a scenario of what I want to do.
I come across an article and when I open it, there are Social Media links there for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
If I click the Twitter link, as an example it adds the article to my Twitter page.
On my website, I have my twitter feed appearing. What I don´t like about it is that it is just a text link to the original article.
What I want is that instead of a text list of things I´ve posted on my Twitter feed, to appear as slides in a carousel or slider, complete with images from the original post. When someone clicks on the link in the slider or carousel, it should open the original post.

With what I have currently, if I create a post with the link embedded, it pulls the image and headline for the article and clicking on it takes you to the original page.

So what I´m trying to do is automate the process without having to go back to my website and create a post.

Any chance something like that already exists? I´m currently using Smash Balloon´s Custom Twitter Feeds, but it doesn´t post the images and isn´t in a slider or carousel. I´ve toyed with Smash Balloon´s Social Post Feed, but is only for Instagram, and I haven´t been able to get my Instagram feed page to display on my website.

    Thanks again.
