Plugin removed due to security issue

    Just noticed one of the plugins I had installed was removed due to security issues.

    This plugin has been closed as of December 8, 2021 and is not available for download. This closure is permanent. Reason: Security Issue.

    Is there any way to find out what the security issue was? And when a plugin gets removed is there any alert sent to users who have it installed as I did not get one?

    “Is there any way to find out what the security issue was?” No. That does not get disclosed by wp.org.
