Plugin removes URL in menu items while Avada Builder plugin is active

    While the plugin Complianz | GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent is active, there appears to be a problem adding new links to the menus in wordpress (Aspect -> Menu).
    The anchor is shown, the menu item added, but the URL is stripped.

    I tested in a staging copy of the website and it only does it while the plugin is active and Avada builder (the plugin for the Avada theme) is active, I tried to play around with your plugin’s settings but I couldn’t get it fixed.

    It only recently started happening, not sure exactly when.

    If it might be helpful to find a solution I can send you access to the staging website, just let me know where.

    I tested a bit more on the staging website.

    Complianz without any other plugin – URLs work
    Complianz with only Speed Optimizer by siteground – URLs don’t work when creating new ones
    Speed Optimizer by siteground – URLs work
    Complianz + Avada Core + Avada Builder – URLs work
    Complianz + Avada Core – URLs work
    Complianz + Avada Builder – URLs work

    So I guess I was mistaken with my previous tests, it looks like “maybe” the interaction with Speed Optimizer by siteground + Complianz is what make menu items URLs not work.

    I just opened a ticket on your website with attached admin credentials to the staging copy.

    Hello,

    thanks for your message.

    Certain cache plugins could create this kind of issues, usually we suggest to whitelist our JS from the cache plugin or disable all its features related to JS optimization/JS minification/JS loading delay.
