    Hello,

I’m using the Moose theme from elated themes. When I install your plugin I get two issues.

The first issue is that when I go to add a new announcement, the “Announcement Icon” dropdown doesn’t work and the icon that is suppose to appear to the left of the name in the dropdown is just a blank square. My theme has font-awesome included so I think it might have something to do with this but what I don’t understand is that I get no issues with “Default Icon” dropdown in settings. Any suggestions?

The second issue I have is that when this plugin is active I lose my text box editor if I try to edit any of my pages, post, or basically anywhere the text editor should show.

    Hi,

It sounds like you have a conflict with your theme or another plugin. I can’t tell you for sure what it is but my recommendation would be to temporarily switch themes to see if that resolves the issue. That way we know it is a theme conflict and we can help hunt down a solution.

    Thanks,
    Evan

It is with my theme. The error I get in my console on my pages when I activate the plugin says “Deprecated TinyMCE API call: <target>.onNodeChange.add(..)”.

I would reach out to your theme provider and let them know that they should update things to work with the latest version of WordPress. There is nothing that can be done on my end. Your theme authors should keep things up to date with the latest stable release of WordPress.

    Thanks,
    Evan
