Plugin requires a newer version of PHP

    WP saying that Smart Slider 3 is not compatible with PHP version. I have hardened PHP.

    Smart Slider 3 installs successfully but does not display any options anywhere. It can be viewed residing in the plugins area.

    WP Dashboard Warning: “Smart Slider 3 requires PHP version 7.0+, plugin is currently NOT RUNNING. Current PHP version: 5.6.40”

    Linux Message: “WordPress recommends everyone update their PHP versions, but this is often not possible. This is why your site is using HardenedPHP, by CloudLinux”

    Smart Slider 3 error/warning is: “Error: This plugin requires a newer version of PHP. Click here to learn more about updating PHP.

    This resource is provided by your web host, and is specific to your site. For more information, see the official WordPress documentation.”
