plugin resizes not chooses resolutions with html/css

    Hi!

    I did watermark only big resolutions and the plugin resizes now all other resolutions per html/css.

    I got xxx messages like this:

    “is resized in HTML or CSS from 1400×788 to 275×155. Serving a scaled image could save 161.7KiB (96% reduction).”

    I have “Filter srcset” off but it does not use any unwatermarked images though. (if I turn it on also nothing changes).

    I always empty entire cache when testing it cannot be cache issue.

    I want that ONLY watermarked images are used with watermark and not that rest of images created with html/css resize of watermarked images. Before using this plugin the site did not resize any images like this.

    Papen, we don’t seem to understand what’s the issue exactly.

    Could you please rephrase and write what’s the expected result, how does it work now and why you think it’s an issue?

    If you could provide this srcset attribute as example it would be great. Thanks!

    I have a picture
    1400×788 and
    275×155

    I watermark only 1400×788.

    The 275×155 picture is shown now as a scaled version of the watermarked picture instead the original 275×155 without watermark.

    @papen88 are you aware of how these images are displayed? Or are you able to provide the website link and point an image which is displayed incorrectly?

    I GTmetrix it shows me this when the plugin is enabled:

    The following images are resized in HTML or CSS. Serving scaled images could save 1.5MiB (95% reduction).

    is resized in HTML or CSS from 1900×1235 to 275×179. Serving a scaled image could save 347.2KiB (97% reduction).
    is resized in HTML or CSS from 1400×788 to 275×155. Serving a scaled image could save 161.7KiB (96% reduction).
    is resized in HTML or CSS from 1199×675 to 275×155. Serving a scaled image could save 122.3KiB (94% reduction).
    …………………..

    without the plugin images are not resized like this. The plugin makes the site 1,5 MB bigger.

    If I deactivate the plugin all pictures are shown correctly. The resolutions which have been watermarked have the watermark and all other resolutions dont have.

    the plugin is deactivated to work correctly (showing only watermarked pictures as watermarked and all others unchanged)
