Hi Joachim, even before any access levels have been created, the plugin restricts the visibility of my WooCommerce shop page in the main menu.

When I deactivate the plugin, the page is back in the menu.

    Regards
    Carsten

  • I managed to find the solution. Users Acess> Acess Level> Add New, Add New Light For Visitors> Members> Sinconization Role> Not Logged in> Then set the capabilits.

Hi, thanks for sharing the solution, which solved the issue on your page.

This apperantly is an issue for several users, so I really would like a comment from the author of the plugin, how this can happen?

I’m a bit concerned using a plugin which restrict content, just by being activated. What other kind of unexpected restrictions can take place on your site, without your knowledge?

    Regards
    Carsten

    Thank you for reporting this.

What version of WP are you using?
Has Restrict User Access ever been installed on the site before, or is it a fresh install?
Can you confirm that there are 0 levels created now?
Are you using any other membership/permission/accesss control plugin?

Restrict User Access cannot restrict content without there being data about it, my hunch is that old data or artifacts are present.
