[Plugin: Role Scoper] Time limitation Role

    Hello,

    I’m using Role Scoper to define which users can read certains categories. However, time limitation for roles doesn’t work fine in my case. How does it exactly works? I would like to grant access for an user for one month, for instance (from a specific date also), but when I put these values (in Role –> Categories) and select the suitable categories, this user can’t access to them anyway (even after the set up date).

    On the other hand, if this user belongs to a group with some rules defined by Role Scoper and this group has no any time limitation, is it possible to assign a time limitation only for this user even if it’s on a group? And more, if the group can read categories 1, 2 and 3, could user 1 (from this group) read categories 2 and 3 but no 1?

    Roles can be assigned with a specific start and/or end date. I tested this and found it to be working as of Role Scoper 1.3.56.

    When in effect, these roles work the same as a regular RS role. If the role (and duration) are set for a group, the time limit will apply for all users in the group and all categories for which the role is assigned.
