[Plugin: Search Everything] Filter search

I have a question about creating a custom query. I have two fields, general string, and a zip code. Both parts have to be true to return a result.

Currently the search that I’m being forced to use, doesn’t include categories in the criteria from which to search on.

I’ve tried using the Search Everything plugin, but then the zip code feature doesn’t work.

Can anyone shed some light on where I can go with this?
