    Hi Team,

I absolutely love this plugin and would like to thank the development team for creating such an amazing tool.

However, I have a request regarding accessibility improvements for the search section. I am using this plugin on an e-commerce website and currently testing its accessibility features. While doing so, I noticed that the wpsl-gmap.js file is being used for certain functionalities(specially select dropdown). Unfortunately, screen readers are unable to read the Search Radius and Results dropdown menus. I kindly request enhancements in this area to make these elements accessible to all users.

We are using the Screen Reader – Chrome Web Store chrome extension for accessibility.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi there, thanks for writing.

Yes, you are totally right about the accessibility issues, and you are not the first of our users to report it to us. We are about to release a major new version of our plugin and we will deal with these issues when we finish working on the new release, I hope you understand.

    Best regards!

Thanks @farroyob for update. I understand.
Is there any plugin roadmap or tentative dates for future releases?

    Thanks

We still don’t have an ETA for version 3.0. It has been feature complete for a while now, and we should start beta testing it soon, so stay tuned!

    Best regards,

I would also like to know when the accessibility issues have been resolved.

    Hi again,

We are still working on version 3.0, so it is still unreleased, thanks for your patience!
    Best regards,
