Plugin seems to be broken
-
Hi,
I use this plugin exclusively for my analytics needs on 30 or so websites of my own and I have placed it on dozens of my clients websites. It was the best of the best in my opinion.
Recently;
1. The plugins settings page won’t load past the second line where it says “Analytics account:” The rest of the page is blank.
2. On the Dashboard page, the Google Analytics Summary won’t load… just a spinning disk.
3. On the Widgets page, a partial list of available widgets loads but none of the sidebar where the widgets get drug to to activate is visible. Just blank space. As soon as I de-activate Google Analyticator, the Widgets page returns to its normal function.
This seems to be the same across several websites running several different versions of WordPress. In all cases, the plugin has now been updated to 6.4.9.4. In one case, the website is still running WordPress 3.9.7 and this website works fine.
Of the 6 websites checked so far, in all cases, the websites were functioning correctly a few weeks ago. No changes have been made during that time. The websites all are using their own mix of various plugins.
Is there a known bug in Google Analyticator with newer versions of WordPress? I see similar threads in this forum have gone un-answered. Is there a fix in the works?
Thanks,
Kelly
