    Hello!
Thank you for your great plugin.
But I got a problem I cannot solve.

If I dont setup Facebook image for a post, your plugin is supposed to set as og:image just default Facebook image from plugin setup page. It works OK, but only if post doesnt have an inserted pictures.

If there are some inserted images in the post, plugin takes the first inserted image, and set it as an og:image automaticly. Not feature image, but image FROM the post content! So, plugin ignores default facebook image.

I was not able to find how to change this.
Can you tell me, how can I remove this feature.
    Thank you.

I got last versions of the both Yoast Seo plugin and WordPress.

  • Hi,

We would like some more information and verify that all are updated.

    A. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO, v10.0.1? If you update, does the issue resolve?

    B. Can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.1.1? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/.

    C. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

We are going ahead and marking this issue as resolved due to inactivity. If you require any further assistance please create a new issue.
