[Plugin: Shadowbox JS] Shadowbox Stopped Working

We’ve been using the Shadowbox JS plug-in as a better alternative to manually entering a shadowbox code into the “rel field” in the image settings pop-up. All was working fine up through April 5th. Here is a sample of the code that previously worked fine:

If you notice, in the previous anchor tag, here is the shadowbox code: rel="shadowbox[post-2531];player=img;

In the latter anchor tag that doesn’t work, there is no shadowbox code and a new rel appears at the beginning of it:
rel="attachment wp-att-2788"

From April 13th through today, something has changed that no longer activates the shadowbox plug-in and when clicking images, WordPress opens the image in a new post, url titled: ../blog/category/post-title/attachment/image-name/

This has never happened before and we have no idea what caused it? We’re using Headway 2.0.10, which we began using with the Shadowbox plug-in with no problems.
