Hi tamm7,
I would like to help you out, but I would need to see what’s going on. Could you please share the URL of the page where the form is included?
Let me know!

Hi,
The URL of the page is http://www.libraryteachertools.com
Thank You.
Hi tamm7,
there’s nothing in the code to suggest Optin Forms is causing this. There is some broken HTML, but it’s caused by the image above the form:
<a a="" <="" target="_blank"...
Alternatively, you could delete the optin form from the page by deleting the shortcode from the widget, and see whether the issue persists 😉

Hi Boris,
I removed the picture above the form and the space was still there. I had already tried deleting the shortcode from the widget a few weeks ago and there was still a spacing issue when it was removed.
I had found that just installing the plugin alone without adding a widget caused the space. I also deactivated all other plugins, activating each one at a time and found that the optin plugin alone caused the issue–as soon as it was activated (not adding it to the widget).
I really like the plugin and was hoping to also purchase optin lock; however, if there is no fix, I will look for an alternative.
Thanks,
Tammy
Hi Tammy,
I’m not sure that is the case. The plugin does not output anything on the front-end once it’s activated. You need to configure the options and add the opt-in form by either shortcode or automatic placement, in order for it to affect the front-end in any way.
I am guessing something else is causing your issue.
