Plugin shortcode breaks embed shortcode

On a single post page I’m using embed shortcode to embed a youtube video and also the Amazon product in a post shortcode to show a product. When the Amazon shortcode is there the youtube embedding does not render. When plugin is deactivated youtube embed works fine. Using WordPress 4.4.1
