is there a way to sort the pages using an attribute in the shortcode?

It’s displaying alphabetically, but I want it to sort by date posted (chronologically)

Just got a quick hack in…

Just below line 741 in shortcodes.php add this:

'sort_column' => 'post_date',

That’s my first ever wordpress plugin hack!!! Woo me!!

But it would be REALLY cool if you made it into an attribute so you could choose the sort order from the list here:
