Plugin showing only 1 similar post for certain posts

    Hello, how can I set up a minimal amount of posts to be shown?
    The problem is that for some posts it is showing only 1 similar post, and it looks bad.

    I prefer to have non-similar posts shown (in case there are no similar), instead than showing only 1 or 2.

    Maybe you will put an option for that?

    Hi,

    Right now you can’t do that. In a future version, I’ll include the support for filling in the posts.

    Thank you. Not it really look ugly for a part of posts. If you want/need I can share some links with you, to see the problem.

    Do you have an ETA when you plan to add this new feature?

    Ideally you should restrict the number of posts to 3 or 4. If you’ve got an older blog, you might want to increase the day limit to greater than 1095

    I don’t have an ETA on this feature. It’s one of the many on the charts to add. It’s likely to find it’s way in a version 2 versions ahead.

    Hi, yes I have it already set to 4 in “Number of related posts to display:”

    And I have more than 700 posts to choose from.

    I have this setting “Related posts should be newer than: 50”. Maybe if I choose 300 instead than 50, there will be more chances it will find more similar posts?

    Yes, definitely. 50 means it is restricting it to only 50 days. Unless you’re generating a huge number of posts per day, 50 means you’re highly restricting the number of posts.

    For now you should start with a higher number and over time you can reduce it down to 50.
