• Is there any way to remove the “Be the first of your friends to like this” text, and the small “f” icon that appears beside the Like button? I’m not sure if they’re necessary and I just think it would look cleaner without all that.

    Thanks.

Use the “button_count” layout. On the settings page this is “Button with counter”.

Thanks very much. I thought “standard” meant just the button, but I guess I should have tried the various options first.

After I switched to the standard button at the bottom of the post, I noticed there was a lot space under the button. I just added your Simple Twitter Connect so I could also add a tweet button, and it is appearing quite far under the facebook button. I would like them to appear beside each other at the bottom of the post. Do you know how I can fix this?

When I view the source I noticed the inline style for the fb button says this: “width:450px; height:65px” But I don’t know how to fix it.

    Thanks.

Here’s a link to my site so you can see the problem with the spacing: http://www.canphoto.net/

Sorry, but I gave up on these plug-ins because I couldn’t get the bettons to line up properly. I found another one that puts the two buttons together nicely.
