    Let me begin by saying that Simple Meta Tags is exactly what I was looking for. It feels like the most natural extension to WordPress.

    I was just wondering (and mostly hoping :)) if you had any intention to make your plugin compatible with WordPress 3.3? I’m not sure about the description and keyword tags but I can tell that the title tags don’t seem to work with the latest version of WordPress 3.3. WordPress keeps its default behavior of showing the page’s title (not to be confused with the title tag) followed by a pipe and the site’s name (ex.: Contact Us | ABC Corp.)

    Hey Eddy,
    I’m glad you like the plugin…

    To answer your question, Simple meta tags plugin is compatible with WordPress 3.3.

    WordPress does not have a default “Meta Title” and it is the plugin that is generating the “Blog name” | “Page Title” format.

    It does that in case the Meta Title on your post has not been filled in (i.e. if you left it empty)

    It might be that the Theme you are using has some sort of an override to insert a special meta tag – so I would recommend checking this first (i.e. removing the meta tags generation from the theme)
