Could you wrap each element of the navigation in a separate class for your next release? That would be really neat.

The css as it is now doesn’t allow me to treat the arrows and the counter as separate divs. I need to have them in different places and not tightly grouped as they are now.

Of course i could give a shot at a hack myself, but it would be ruined by the next update.
I like this plugin very much though, as it rids me of a lot of the frustrations i developed with PortfolioSlideshow.

    Keep it up!

    Thomas,

Glad you enjoy it. I’ll add this to the to-do list for the next version, but due to some stuff I’ve got going on for the next bit, my target for the next release is around mid-October.

If you’d like to have this functionality before then, it shouldn’t be too hard to hack something together in the interim. Where you’d want to look is lines 155 to 171 of simpleslider.php, to change the value of $resp that’s generated in that section.

Thanks for the feedback, it’s much appreciated.

Thanks, I added three extra classes: prev, next and counter. you can see the result over at http://hardlink.nl/joel/?p=51

Your code – with the additional 3 classes – from line 155 to 171:

Now the only thing that bugs me is the fact that I can’t figure out how to center the image. Could you help me out with that?

I’m getting a 404 Not Found on the hardlink.nl site – got another demo up somewhere with your changes?
