The “Simple” tag is because it doesn’t come with a load of admin screens and is therefore compact and, maybe lacking in some of the bells and whistles of others.
As you are “stumped” and “going in circles”, I assume you’ve taken advantage of the free support over on my site – there’s a forum at http://www.artiss.co.uk/forum, for instance.
If you let me know what you’re trying to achieve – for instance, adding some bookmarks to the bottom of each post and page – I’ll help you out.

I would suggest adding a basic admin page with an on off button ( off by default ), or adding an option to one of the existing ones.
This plugin works, and does exactly what it says on the tin, yet there are so many others that do the same then add a little tab on the side, or spam all over the place, etc etc

I’m maybe having a “stupid” day, but what would this on/off switch do?
BTW, the latest release of the plugin adds some basic instructions inbetween the shortcodes when you use the editor button – hopefully this will assist those who don’t know how to use it.
