Plugin slows down front-end and back-end speed

This plugin work perfectly with one problem. It really slows down the page load speed for both the user and for the developer (working through the WP panels). I have tested with GTmetrix and the page load speed goes from ~3secs to over 30secs, and sometimes even longer. I have gone through the process of removing all plugins and reactivating one by one and determined this plugin is the issue. I wonder if another plugin is somehow interfering with this on. Are there any know conflicts between this plugin and other? Anything else I could try?
