    Other than the directory-name issue highlight elsewhere, this plugin is pretty awesome.

    So far, my primary complaint is that logging in with twitter creates a new wp account, even if the twitter account’s email already is associated with a wp username — all other login options (haven’t tried windows live) actually do log in to an existing account if there’s a match, which is awesome. But having twitter do so too would be even better.

    So far, my primary feature request would be to allow sharing of comments to certain networks like fb and tw. Second would be adding LinkedIn auth.

    All in all, I’m amazed that this works so well out of the box. Thanks so much.

    There is no way to get an email address for a user logging in with Twitter. Twitter only provide the username. It’s a real shame as you’ve pointed out, but outside of our control.

    Thanks for replying. Are there any other methods that it could be accomplished? There seem to be other twitter-specific plugins that can authenticate an existing user…

    Is this a plugin you’ll be actively developing in the next few months?

    Love this plugin! It’s the first that actually worked like it said it would.

    Is it possible to move the connect buttons from below the comment to above? I’d love to make it one step easier for commenters to see that they can login this way.

    Hi Rachel, it’s not possible to achieve that from within the plugin (the only hook in the comment form is below the comment form). But you can quite easily change your theme’s comments.php template.

    Add the following line where you want the connect buttons to appear:

    <?php if( function_exists( 'sc_render_comment_form_social_connect' ) ) sc_render_comment_form_social_connect(); ?>

    Then add the following function to your theme’s functions.php file to remove the default buttons:

    function gg_remove_sc_comment(){
	remove_action( 'comment_form', 'sc_render_comment_form_social_connect' );
}
add_action( 'comment_form', 'gg_remove_sc_comment', 20 );

    I’d been using this function for quite a while and a recent update broke it for me – has this code changed?
