    I came across this thread for customizing the CSS for the Social Media Widget:

    Absolutely awesome tip! I’m running into one problem, though. Adding this to my functions.php successfully “unhooks” the default CSS to call:

    remove_action('wp_head', 'Social_Widget_Scripts');

    But it’s not picking up the CSS from my own stylesheet. I copied all the styles from the above thread as instructed, but no styles are being picked up at all. I’m sure it’s user error, but if you have a suggestion, I’d be glad to try it! Here’s the URL of my dev site where you can see the widget in use:
