[Plugin: SOPA Blackout Plugin] Reminder Warning Message for Admin That Plugin is Active?

Hi guys, GREAT plugin and I’m joining in at http://wpprobusiness.com.

I’d like to suggest the addition of a warning message to admins that the plugin is activated and a link to “SOPA Updates”.

This way I can be reminded of continuing important dates in which I might want to add as additional blackouts as the fight against these bills will likely drag on for some time.

Thanks for the great work and together we can raise awareness and take action!

I like this idea. I’ll look into adding this as an option (I could see this getting on some users’ nerves).

Great, thanks for considering it.

As a little further info, I was thinking a notification along the lines of what the Maintenance Mode plugin does when activated.

Additionally, the “getting on the nerves” part may offer a “Dismiss this notification” the way that WPMUDEV plugins have it when they insert a notification.

Adam – I’ve updated the development version of the plugin to include this new option (along with a few others). Would you mind downloading the development version and testing it out to let me know if you see any bugs or issues before I release it as stable? Thanks.

Looking good…

After initial activation, there was no admin message until I saved the SOPA settings…makes sense and looks AWESOME.

No problems so far, great work sir!

p.s. Does this get activated at midnight based on the time zone set in my WP admin?
