[Plugin: SoundCloud Shortcode] Soundcloud installed but cant be found!

I installed the plugin into my wordpress, self hosted blog. I am hosted through godaddy. I use the shortcodes and it just displays it as text. i went to my plugins section and soundcloud isnt even listed. i searched for and tried to add the plugin again but it says its already installed. what should i do?
