Plugin stopped blocking VPNs

Hi All, I recently had an issue with this plugin because my IP was used as a proxy. During that time I tested the plugin with my VPN on and was able to access it. I thought this was related to my original IP being used as Proxy.

Now that my IP is “clean” (I had a complete clean-up and was able to locate the app that was causing it) as I requested a new IP from my IPS.

Now the plugin still does not block VPNs.

I copied my site to a staging enviroment on the same server and was able to replicate the issue.

My troubleshooting included the following:

1. deactivated all plugins except the vpn blocker – it still gives me access to that specific page
2. checked the setting of that said page – still has “block VPN”
3. I checked the VPN Blocker settings
– VPN and Proxy Block is activated
– Setting to redirect to URL is active
– Link to Page URL is there
– The page it should redirect to is available and published
4. I tried different countries and none of them are blocked (Austria, Germany, China, US)

The current version I am using is 3.5.7

The action log says that the last IP was blocked just day ago (I started updating my site yesterday around 12 hours ago) but I can’t say if its a proxy that was blocked or an IP used by VPN.

I can’t find an actual debug log. if there is one, please let me know where.
