Plugin Stopped Working?

Hello,
When I first installed the plugin, Security Headers reported an “A” Security Report Summary. I haven’t made any changes but now Security Headers is reporting an “F” grade. Is there a problem with the plugin (or Security Headers)? Sucuri also is not recognizing the security headers.

Hi @auctionsavvy , Thank you for using Headers Security Advanced & HSTS WP. We’ve done a quick check on a listing and can’t find any problems with version 4.8.3 of Headers Security Advanced & HSTS WP.
Before opening an investigation for any urgent patches we ask you to perform the following procedure:
1 – Verify that the plugin is updated with the latest version 4.8.3 (if the plugin is already updated, please follow point 2)
2 – Disable and Reactivate the plugin and run the test again.
3 – In case points 1 and 2 above do not work we ask you to delete and reinstall the plugin.N.B. If you use cache or external cache managers I ask you to empty them.

I had deactivated the plugin and reactivated it prior to the request. I just did so again and the result is the same. I just un-installed and re-installed the plug and the result is the same. (I cleared all caches including Cloudflare…)

Hi @auctionsavvy, in order to offer you the best assistance I ask you some information to solve the problem as soon as possible…was cloudflare already installed when you made the grade A test?
There are some configurations to check in cloudflare and I will help you as soon as possible by checking your website.
Yes, Cloudfare was already active when I first installed your plugin. None of the Cloudflare settings have been changed(as far as I can remember), but if there is anything you want me to check let me know.

As a test I just paused Cloudflare and I got an A Rating. What setting in Cloudflare may have triggered this?

I re-enabled Cloudflare, cleared cache both in Cloudflare and WordPress, and still have an A.

What Cloudflare settings may be problematic? This may have been a blip, but if I can prevent it from happening again I would like to do so.

Hi @auctionsavvy , by deactivating and reactivating cloudflare you don’t find any anomaly anymore right?
I hope the assistance provided was helpful to you.
You may experience this issue when updating cloudflare features, also if it happens again try to disable or restart the service so that the machine can restart regenerating the configurations.

Hi Andrea,
The plugin stopped working again. I deleted plugin in and paused Cloudflare. Added back the plugin and reactivated Cloudflare. It is working again, but I think there is a problem. Do you know which Cloudflare setting may be interfering with the plugin?

I checked this morning and the plugin has stopped working again.

Pausing Cloudflare and clearing the cache doesn’t change the results. Still an “F”. Which makes be believe the Cloudflare is not the issue.
