After the last update (2.3.4) my Booking Calendar stopped working. When confirming booking the system finishes the booking but no reservations are made and no confirmation email is sent. I’m running the free version (testing the plugin) on a wordpress.com page.
Pls. advice how to fix this or if a fix will be issued by you.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi dear users.

Make sure that you have filled all fields in Notification settings page.
Check another emails, maybe issue comes from you email.
    Check the spam folder.

If after this you still have the same issue, then send us notifications page screenshots, we will check.

    Thanks.

    Hi again.

Also, we checked reservations part and everything works fine from our side.

    Thanks.

    Hi @wpdevart
Well, this is not working at all. I have gone throug all my settings on the Notification Tab in the Theme, turned all that are not marked Extended ON, even asked the plugin to let me know if email is not sent and turning PHP mailer ON and OFF.
Sorry, I can’t see how a screenshot of the Notification Tab would help you, I think you are overseeing the fact that there is no reservation made after pressing the confirmation button = the plugin has no info to use or put into a email.
It does not help us to know that everything works at your side, may I ask; what version of WP are you testing this on? I’m running this plugin on the 5.1.1 version at WORDPRESS.COM
Now you have at least four possible customers that are having problems with this plugin, possible more that are simply not aware that the plugin is not working.
    Please advice.

    Hi @wpdevart again
In the change history for the version 2.3.4 you state “Improved: Change file_get_contents to wp_remote_get” Can I disable / deactivate this change in the Plug-in editor any way? If this is the only change made in the 2.3.4 version, then I would like to try the plugin without this fix. The version 2.3.3 was working quite smooth but the 2.3.4 simply does not. Is it possible to get the 2.3.3 version in ZIP format and install it?
    Kind regards,
    kristjfr11

@kristjfr11 There’s no reason to report this plugin.

It does not help us to know that everything works at your side, may I ask; what version of WP are you testing this on? Iโ€™m running this plugin on the 5.1.1 version at WORDPRESS.COM

You’re not using WordPress.com. If you were, you would not be able to install any plugin. WordPress.com is a managed WordPress host that does not permit you to install plugins.

When the developer says everything is working on their end, what they mean here is that the service you’re using is working.

    Improved: Change file_get_contents to wp_remote_getโ€

That’s unlikely to be at fault unless your web host disabled the HTTP API (or curl). And if they did that, then file_get_contents never would have worked either. It’s more common to disable remote file access via file_get_contents than wp_remote_get.

You should check your server’s error logs.

@ipstenu My mistake to press the report link, sorry. I’m runnin this on wordpress.com paid hosting as business plan and able to install plugins etc.

    Hi @wpdevart
You can also test this at /?page_id=1113 (the page is in Icelandic). Information about the environment on the top of the page, translation of Icelandic names also.
Even if a booking is made and the system states that booking is confirmed, the choosen date and qty stays unchanged in the calendar (even after refresh). Please notice that the theme uses the instant approval so the qty should change directly after the booking.

Is there a change that this will be fixed in the next several days? I would hate to have to take a look at other plugins, this one serves our needs 99%, simple and nice and I would be happy to support you with a donation or subscription if this gets fixed.

Have you contacted their WP.com help team about plugin issues?

    https://wordpress.com/help/contact

Itโ€™s not the same thing as a self hosted WordPress install.

Yep, I got the info to contact the provider of the plugin, either by email or through this support. I got limited help through email after WpDevArt stated that the version 2.3.4 was a free version, that’s why I created this ticket here.

    Hi.

Thanks a lot for your replies.

First of all, we can send you the 2.3.3 version through email if you contact with us at [email protected].

We didn’t understand what you mean saying “limited help”. Did you contact with us via email?

After installing prev. version (2.3.3) all things started to work as prior to the 2.3.4 update.
    Thank for your help.
