    Hi,

I upgraded to wordpress 6.9 and the plugin (free version) stopped working. It does not load the calendar anymore and remains loading indefinitely.

All other settings (PHP, mySQL, installed plugin, etc.) are still the same.

    What can I do?

    Thank you

  • This is most likely not related to 6.9.

A small number of users on specific hosting providers in Europe and the UK (especially Strato AG in Germany and 20i in the UK) have reported issues with Google Calendar feeds over the past week. Google has been putting temporary blocks on requests from those networks due to suspicious activity.

It’s possible ICS Calendar is the cause of the blocks, but we haven’t been able to determine that for certain, and we’re still gathering more details.

If this sounds like it may apply to you, please use the support request form on our website to submit your details. Be sure to include your system report from the ICS Calendar admin page. Thanks.

    Hi,

I do not know, however I am 99.99% sure that before the upgrade it was working well. I have two websites, I will send the log from one of them. I do not use google calendar.

    Thank you

OK, thanks. I’ve been testing the plugin with the 6.9 release candidates for several weeks and haven’t seen any other issues, but I’ll review your details in the system report and see if I can figure out what’s going on.

    Hi,

as I told you privately, I restored a previous backup of 2-3 days ago with wordpress 6.8 and now everything is working well. The strange thing is that many other plugins have also stopped working, but not all of them. Moreover, this is not limited to this specific website, but affects at least three different websites with similar plugins.

    Have a nice day.

    Hi,

my website is hosted by Aruba and, after several attempts, I discovered that there is a problem with wordpress 6.9, but it is due to their hispeed cache plugin. Once disabled, everything works fine as it does with it enabled and wordpress 6.8.

I apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your support.
