Plugin stuck in status initializing

    I installed the plugin and disabled the other anti-malware plugin I had before, to not be in conflict.
    But now when I start the scan with malcure, it stays forever in status: Initializing.
    Checksums: 5232
    Signatures: 3320
    Sig Version: Hn456
    Last Updated: 3 hours ago
    Total Files: 0
    Files Excluded: 0
    Files to scan: 0
    Files remaining: 0
    Time Elapsed: Not Initialised
    Time Remaining: Not Initialised
    Achieved Speed: Duck
    Status: initialising…
    Do I need to do other steps or something more to start the scanning?
    I tried also with put a higher amount of scan files /request. No success.
    I cleared the cache from WPRocket too.
    Is a W2012, IIS, PHP 7.3.7, WP 5.4.2 all updated.

    Will be happy to help. Let’s narrow it down:

    Have you had success with the plugin in the past or is this the first time you are trying to run?
    Is there any JavaScript error in the console?
    Are other plugins working fine?

    This is first time I installed malcure. I just wanted to confirm if I have a malware code on my WP.
    No JavaScript error.
    All other plugins works fine. Website works fine.
    Last days, I noticed a popup banner on the frontpage with some BS ads.
    I reset passwords, I cleared the WPRocket cache, I restarted the webserver, updated all plugins, I started scanning with GOTMLS, no malware found. I scanned with malcure online webscanner, nothing found.
    I installed malcure plugin just to be sure it’s clean. I disable the plugin GOTMLS before start scanning with malcure.
    What should I do in order to have the scanning started?

    Sorry guys, but I had to remove this plugin from my web. I really hoped that can work.
    But a plugin that simply doesn’t start doing what should do, with no error or message to identify why is not working, it’s a useless plugin.
    When you will have a better install checkup maybe I will try it again.
