• Hello Again,

I have Subscribe2 installed and for some reason, I can’t get the widget to work right. I have created a subscribe page, I activate the widget, but when I put an e-mail address in to test it I get the following error:

Sorry, there seems to be an error on the server. Please try again later.

Is there something I am doing wrong? I have been leaving the “Div Class Name” “Pre-Content” and “Post-Content” boxes blank on the widget. I do not know if they need to have something in it, and if they do, what exactly should that be?

    Thank you.

  • I have exactly the same problem with the last versions Subscribe2 5.9 and WP3.01
    My hosting is One.com

The plugin is telling you that the confirmation email failed to send from your site – this is likely down to hosting restrictions on out going emails imposed by your hosts.

    Yes right!
Hi my problem has been solved
“Sorry, there seems to be an error on the server. Please try again later.”

The provider only accept 10 emails/day if the sender is not sending email from the domain where your website is hosted.
In subscribers2 change the adress of the sender and preferably a sender with the same domain where your website is hosted.
For my exemple I was using a @gmail adress to newsletter subscription from a website hosted at One.com
I created a @one.com adress and set it in the subscriber2 as the sender, now it works well !

Hi, i have the same error. In the official subscribe2 plugin there are some “solutions” but nothing efective. I install correctly the wp-mail-smtp plugin but no way.

“Sorry, there seems to be an error on the server. Please try again later.”

I am so tired. I am going to uninstall the subscribe2 plugin.
