[Plugin: Subscribe2] Digest emails not being sent

    I appear to be having the same problems as a lot of people in that their cron-job for the daily digest emails doesnt appear to be working as no emails are being sent.

    • I have Disabled WP CronJobs in wp-config.php
    • I have Setup cPanel CronJob for wp-cron.php
    • Pressing the Re-Send Digest button works and emails are sent

    The CronJob doesnt appear to be doing anything, if i visit http://www.mydomain.com/wp-cron.php the emails aren’t triggered either.

    Can someone help me begin the troubleshooting process?

    Have you seen this thread?

    You could try putting:
    define('ALTERNATE_WP_CRON', true);

    in your wp-config.php file and see if that helps.

    Also, think about installing the WP-Crontrol plugin and you’ll be able to see if cron tasks are being processed.

    Thanks for the suggestion, I have tried this solution already with no joy unfortunately.

    Whilst I am testing things out is there a way to remove all of my subscribers so only one is receiving the emails?

    I have removed all of my confirmed subscribers who have signed up through the subscription widget but i cant see to see a way of removing my registered users?

    @heavyweightdesigns,

    You can’t remove them as they Registered through WordPress but you can unsubscribe them from notification emails.

    Go to Subscribe2 -> Subscribers and filter on Registered Subscribers then scroll to the bottom of the screen and use the bulk management section to change everyones digest email setting to ‘no’.
