[Plugin: Tango Smileys Extended] Using TSE TinyMCE plugin with wp_editor()

    I’m trying make the TSE TinyMCE button available to wp_editor(). I will be displaying the wp_editor() from another plugin in posts and pages, similar to where the comment form is located, but not replacing it.

    If I modify the tse_check_postpage() check, I can get the TSE button to work in wp_editor(). Is there any way to use the TinyMCE plugin in wp_editor() without resorting to modifying the TSE plugin itself?
