• Hi,

Whenever I save form hacker it resets the whole form. Everything (every option or hack code or widgets) reverts to default form.

I am hitting the roof trying to figure out what is wrong with it.

Have you got any clues what is going on?

I am running PHP 5… WP 2.8.4. All other plugins are disabled.
TDOMF worked fine for like 2 days for me… then form hacker started to reset everything.

It’s so weird, because It worked fine yesterday and I didn’t change anything / didnt install any new plugins / in fact I deactivated all plugins, but the problem still occurs / I did not change any .php file / .htaccess is fine / No Wp options were added.

And there.. When I want to change a tiny bit of code inside form hacker, it resets everything to defaults (of the current form) Even when I add a single

    Any help greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Peter

  • Hi Piter45, I’m aware of the problem, however it has completely eluded me because I simply cannot reproduce it on my tests sites. And every time someone reports the problem, they never respond to my queries for more information.

Could you give me as much detail as possible about you’re setup? Like a copy of your phpinfo, your web server, the details of the log, the browser you’re using? Error messages from you’re server’s error log, etc.

    Thanks
    Mark

    Hello Mark,
    Thanks for your response.
Well… I figured out that foreign characters caused this problem, then also I read it here on the forums…

So the form hacker resets the whole form when we put a foreign character into the form hacker and save it.

The best solution is to use ASCII characters whenever we want to add any special character.

So this is not a big deal right now. As soon as I figured out what was causing the problem.. 😉

If you want here is the php info: http://truecolors.host22.com/phpinfo.htm

I’ve also noticed that a normal *.php file that is running on the server never seems to output the right foreign characters anyway. The most efficient way is to use ASCII codes.. Any ideas why?
But as I said before, it is not a really big problem. Probably you have more important ones…
    Thanks
