[Plugin: The Dropbox Plugin] mkdir with open_basedir restriction

Thanks for this cool plugin.
I’m using it to access my dropbox from behind a firewall.

When I try to upload a file (with short code [dropbox allowupload=”true”]) I cannot upload a file:
Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp/theDdropboxPlugin-xxxxx) is not within the allowed path(s):

open_basedir restriction does not allow to create a file in /tmp/

Is there a possible workaround for this?
