My understanding of Dropbox is that it is like an FTP server for people to upload/download files. But what does this WordPress plugin do? If you are moving a file from your PC to another PC via the Dropbox server, what role does a WP blog play?

Imagine you are making canvas prints of digital images. You want your customers to upload their image to you. You add the dropbox plugin to your website and your customers can upload their image to your dropbox folder. In this way your server and your inbox stay safe and uncluttered.
