Plugin Translations don't show up

Hi,

I wanted to use a new plugin for wrodpress called Anspress, but since it’s lacking a german translation I wanted to use your plugin to a dd a translation.
It found all the translatable string I did the translations, but finally after all was done and I pressed generate .mo files, nothing shows up 🙁 the text is still english while the rest of the side is german. The files are (just as the wordpress translation) de_DE.

Any ideas where I can even start looking for the problem?
