First of all – wow, this is amazing! less than 15 minutes to install and configure for a BuddyPress site, and it works great.

But why is it working?

Google and MSN are charging for their API translation services -and we haven’t signed up with either – so how come it is working?

Not that I am complaining of course, but… should we?

Some things actually work, there is nothing hidden there, everything is in the code. We are using a few interesting methods 🙂

However, if in any future, those methods (which are naturally, unofficial and unsupported by the providers) cease to work, you are always welcomed to use an api key you pay for.
